Apple cider vinegar has created quite a buzz lately in terms of claims to aid with weight loss and metabolism. It sounds great and has a lot of benefits but let’s be real who HATES their morning chug of apple cider vinegar? So when I saw ads for this product all over social media I was intrigued. It has been a pretty hard product to find with the only online retailers being those based in the United States. So when I saw this product for sale in the midst of my Christmas shopping I was so happy!
Price: $26.00 CAD plus tax
Location purchased: Squish Candy at Square One Shopping Centre (Mississauga, Ontario)
Pros: I love that this product is vegan and gelatin-free. The consistency of the product is so good, it’s not as chewy as regular gummies. The taste was my favorite part! You taste a fruity flavour which probably comes from the added pomegranate powder. Two gummies is supposed to be equivalent to one shot of apple cider vinegar, making compliance of taking this in comparison to the liquid much higher.
Cons: This product is hard to purchase. I was unable to find any Canadian websites that had it available. Via google search it appears the Squishcandies.ca has it, however, when the link is clicked its a dead-end URL. I also feel that in comparison to a bottle of apple cider vinegar, this product is overpriced and wouldn’t last as long (60 gummies per bottle and recommended dose is 2-4 gummies/day)
